The CODESYS DNP3 extension consists of a CODESYS library that provides IEC function blocks for communication using the DNP3 protocol. The CODESYS DNP3 library provides function blocks to implement an outstation as well as a master.

The update to version 2.0.0.0 requires adjustments to CODESYS projects. Furthermore, boot projects created with DNP3 1.0.0.0 are not compatible with CODESYS PLCs that implement DNP3 2.0.0.0.
