Description

CODESYS Control for WAGO Touch Panels 600 SL is a SoftPLC-based on CODESYS V3 for the WAGO Touch Panels 600 series. After installation of the runtime environment, the PLC can be engineered with the CODESYS Development System (V3).

Operation on Linux without root privileges

By default, the CODESYS Control SL runtime runs on Linux in user space without root privileges, under a dedicated unprivileged user/group. Functions requiring elevated privileges are handled by the separate CODESYS PrivilegeProxy for Linux product, which requires root privileges. This is the default behavior; if required, operation can be configured differently (e.g. with root privileges). CODESYS PrivilegeProxy for Linux and CODESYS Control SL must always be used in the same version.

SL Extension
